The Club's Position on Child Protection

The following document sets out the Club's current position on how best practice can be achieved in complying with the law on Child Protection. Having ploughed my way through numerous "Statements of Principle" issued by various statutory and voluntary bodies on this issue, most of whom have made little headway in proposing how such principles should be translated into workable practice, I have attempted to set out how good practice in a hockey club context can meet the requirements of the law.
