The 2017/18 is about to push off and hockey will be back in the diary! The first date in the diary for anyone with a connection to Inverleith is our Club Day on Saturday 2nd September!
We are looking for all past and present members (junior and senior) and their families and all others with a connection to Inverleith Hockey Club, to join our Purple Family for a day of social hockey; spectating, playing and socialising!
CLUB DAY MENU:
11:30 – APPETISER: Men’s 1s vs Western Wildcats. 11:30 push back at Peffermill.
13:15 – MAIN COURSE: Inverleith Family Festival at Mary Erskine School; mixed generation hockey tournament, suitable for all players 12+ and spectators/socialisers of any age. No cost involved, free to play and watch. Teams will be organised on day, so just turn up!
15:30 – DESSERT: BBQ watching the Ladies 1s vs Grange AND Men’s 2s vs Uddingston. 15:30 push back at Mary Erskine School. Each supporter entitled to a free burger, to help fuel their noise levels!

Please join us for our Family reunion this Saturday! Come cheer on our Men’s 1s in the morning, dabble in some social hockey in the afternoon, have a BBQ whilst supporting our Ladies 1s and Men’s 2s, then finish with a couple purple tipples!
See you there?
This season, our 100th season as a club, Inverleith plan on having a club record amount of socials across the season. Our efforts towards this goal will be led by our new social committee, who will be responsible for organising our family to come together as many times as possible this year! Who are they?
Ben Currie: Men’s 3s
Murray Fotheringham: Men’s 1s
Rachael Campbell: Ladies 1s
Kirsty Dinwoodie: Ladies 1s
Rosina Barton: Ladies 1s
They will mainly operate through our club social media channels. Please follow us on Facebook to keep up to date on all things social at Inverleith.
Are you ready for a fun year?
