Background
The club is based at Currie Community High School (on the West side of Edinburgh), additionally we run two teams at The National Hockey Academey at Peffermill. The club particpate in outdoor and indoor hockey at all levels. We currently have five outdoor mens teams, three outdoor ladies team and a large youth section with ages ranging from 12 to 18 years of age. There are currently four mens indoor teams (two National and two East District), two ladies indoor team (National and East District) and opportunities for indoor hockey at youth level also.Mens First Team
The Mens first team play in National Division One and placed a respectable 3rd last season and runner up in the Scottish Cup. The first team is a very young team and contains mostly players who have come through our youth training program but are supported by some older and more experienced players.Nomads
The Nomads are our second team and play in Regional League Central Division 1 and will be looking to maintain their progress from last year. The team is is split 50-50 between young players and old hands.Mens A Team
The third team in Inverleith, the A's play in East League Division 1. The team is a mix of adult and young players to provide much needed speed!!Mens B Team
The third team in Inverleith, the B's gained promotion back into East League Division 2. The team is a mix of adult and young players moving up the playing ranksMens Development
The Development team play in East League Division 4. This team is used as a feeder team to get young players used to playing in adult leagues. The team contains a large number of older players who encourage and support the younger players in the team.Ladies First Team
The Ladies team, compete in National Division 3 and came a creditable 4th last season. They have a new coach this season and are aiming for promotion to National 2Ladies A Team
The Ladies second team, had a remarkably successful season last year. They won East Outdoor Premier Division, the District Plate and the District League Trophy. The ladies are predominantly a young team with a few older and more experienced players.Ladies B Team
The Ladies third team, compete in East Outdoor Division 2. The ladies are predominantly a young team with a few older and more experienced players.Youth
The Inverleith Youth is available to Girls and Boys aged 8 to 17 years. The focus of the Inverleith Junior Coaching team is to develop the young players for the future as can be seen with the number of youth players involved in all our Club teams. Youth players can play adult league hockey from 14 years onwards and can be involved in the U/16 / U/18 Leagues & Cups plus East District representation. The Inverleith Youth Policy has been in existence for over 20 years and has seen its fair share of fun and success as with the U/18 Boys Team who won the Scottish U/18 Cup last year. The under 14 Girls and Boys age group play mixed hockey and are involved in the U/14 League plus an opportunity for East District representation.Training

Fees are what keeps the club going so they have to be mentioned to any new member wishing to join the club. There is a subscription fee for the season which covers your registration with SHU and East District and the hire of training pitches and other facilities used by the club.
