First Call up For Inverleith Junior Laura Swanson!

The Scotland Senior women’s squad has been announced for the upcoming test series against Ireland, and ex-Inverleith Ladies and Club junior Laura Swanson has been called up for her first cap.

This awesome individual achievement, has obviously came off the back of Laura’s incredible talent, but a more significant role has been played by her attitude and work ethic. Whether it is yards on the pitch, intensity in training or recovering from a number of major injury set backs, Laura doesn’t work hard, she works the hardest.

This achievement is awesome, but the way it has been achieved is more so, and it is a shining example of the fact that talent gets nowhere without hard work, for the next generation of Purple stars coming through!

Ex-Inverleith junior Sarah Jamieson is also in the squad to play Ireland and she is equally awesome, and deserves another big well done! Well done Sarah!
