Inverleith Juniors - 'Lots Of Hockey'

INVERLEITH JUNIORS

Calling ALL U/10 & U/12 players.

We have a number of Tournament invitations for you. Interested in becoming involved then please spread the word that Inverleith Junior Coaching is ongoing at Currie High on Thursday 19.00 to 21.00 & Sunday 10.00 to 11.30.
  • Wikids U/10 (6 - a-side) & U/12 (8-a-side) Mixed Tournament will take place on Sunday 9th May from 12.00 to 17.00 at Bangholm

  • Meadowmill Indoor U/10 & U/12 Mixed Tournament will take place on Saturday 15th May from 10.00 to 15.00 at Meadowmill Sports Centre

  • Fidra Lions U/12 Mixed Tournament will take place on Sunday 7th June from 13.00 to 16.00 at North Berwick High.

  • Inverleith U/10 & U/12 Mixed Tournament will take place on Saturday 19th June from 10.00 to 16.00 at Peffermill.

Calling ALL U/15 players

We appreciate that there are a good number of Inverleith players presently involved with the East District U/14 Mixed Training Squad on Sundays. But we encourage you to attend the Thursday Coaching as we still have the following available for you.

  • Inverleith Lions have qualified Scottish Club U/14 Mixed Finals to be held on Sunday 30th May - All Day at Peffermill.

  • Inverleith 14 & under Boys & Girls V York HC on Saturday 5th June at Peffermill. Games will run on both pitches from 11.00 to 12.00.

  • Fidra Lions Mixed 14 & under Tournament will take place on Sunday 7th June from 13.00 to 16.00 at North Berwick High

  • Inverleith Mixed under 15 Tournament will take place on Saturday 12th June from 10.00 to 16.00 at Peffermill.

Calling ALL U/16 players

We are planning for next season and are looking at organisng a 16 & under Girls & Boys trip to Yorkshire in early September. The Coaching Teams have been in discussion and are looking for all potential U/16 players to attend the Thursday night coaching and use the Sunday morning for fitness & stick skills.  

  • Inverleith Boys v Perthshire will take place on Sunday 16th May at Stirling University from 11.30. The plan will be to meet for 10.15 at the Hermiston Gate Park & Ride.

  • Inverleith Girls V Kelso will take place on Sunday 23rd May. Venue & time TBC.

  • Pending : Inverleith Boys v Western. Inverleith Girls v Western & Grange?

Calling ALL 17 & under players

We invite to to come along to either the Thursday and/or Sunday sessions. We would encourage you to become involved with the Junior Coaching and Umpiring at the Inverleith Junior Tournaments. Some of you at International level will have to keep your fitness levels high. The Training option is there for you.

The plan for late August is to organise Inverleith U/18 Boys & Girls coaching sessions culminating in a mini-tournament to start the season.

The Coaching sessions are available to ALL juniors even if not a member of the Inverleith Juniors. They are welcome to attend the Coaching sessions. The cost will be only £25.00
