Inverleith are providing match day childcare!

We would ask anyone with young children that would require a nanny or babysitter in order to play, to come forward and register their interest in leaving their little purple legends on site with our registered partner, Supermums, before, during and immediately after home games!

Why? We are committed to providing hockey for all and we want to stop having a child meaning you stop playing hockey?! Similarly, why should your hockey career mean your partner has to keep the kids when they could hit the shops, or have a well earned afternoon off?

Recommended to us by three nurseries and several mums and dads for their own babysitting needs, Supermums will provide infant carers or toddler carers for those who register.  In line with the National Care Standards, ratios of childcarer to child will be as follows:

• 1 carer : 3 children under 2 years
• 1 carer : 4  children aged 2-3 years
• 1 carer : 8 children 3 years and above

If you have children that may require extra time and support for any reason, you may wish to have an extra carer, just notify us!

We cannot provide this for free but would look to offer this service to Inverleith members at 50% of the cost and to opposition clubs at market rate. We are not looking to profit from this initiative. Supermums charge £11.75 per hour (minimum hire 2 hours).
