Purple Representing | 2021 Women’s EuroHockey Championships

The Scotland women’s squad has been announced for the EuroHockey Championships in Amsterdam on 4-13 June.

When Scotland women take to the pitch in Amsterdam’s Wagener Stadium this month three ex-Inverleith players will make up the squad:

Laura Swanson*: Youth player and ex-Ladies First Team.

Sarah Jamieson: Youth player and ex-Ladies First Team.

Amy Costello: Ex-Ladies First Team.

*first major tournament for Scotland.

Adding to this our current Men’s First Team coach, ex-Men’s 1s player Chris Duncan, is also with the squad as Assistant Coach.

An incredible achievement from four incredible people. Congratulations to you all. The whole Purple family is wishing you the best!

Scotland’s tournament gets underway on Saturday 5th June when the Scots take on Spain before a contest against Ireland on Monday 7 June, and their final pool match against the Netherlands on Wednesday 9 June. Following the pool section the tournament enters its latter stages where final standings will be confirmed.
