This hockey is open to all youth members – no lockdown travel restrictions for Under 17 year olds.

The youth training on a Wednesday for Under 14’s and u14 Goalkeepers is currently on hold as we continue to work through the options. We will update as soon as possible.

It is our intent to also organise matches when possible.

Return to hockey – Adult

Adult hockey will return from Monday 22nd of March and run until the 3rd of May as follows:

ALL LADIES every Monday 18.45 to 20.15 starting 22nd March and finishing 3rd May at Edinburgh Academy New Field

ALL MEN every Tuesday 18.45 to 20.15 starting 22nd March and finishing 3rd May at Edinburgh Academy New Field. The Mens 1 will run until 25th May.

This hockey is open to Over 14 year old members BUT please note the following COVID restrictions:

  • No travel for Over 18 year olds from outside Edinburgh City council boundaries
  • We have to operate to a ratio of 14 players per coach so attendance will be limited. If you wish to attend on a particular date you must register on Teamer prior to attending on that date.
  • Any training on a Thursday night is currently on hold. We will update as soon as possible.

Subs payment: The second instalment of fees due was postponed. Due to the significant impact of restrictions on adult hockey – no competitive matches, ongoing restrictions and the season ending in May – this instalment will be waived and only the first instalment (60% total fees, paid already by most) will be due this season. Those impacted more than others by the travel restrictions will be contacted directly by the Treasurer and will receive a further reduction.
